Lids

Hot Drink Lids

Hot drink lids are available in Vented, Travel, and Sip Through.

Vented Lids have a pin hole to allow steam to escape; without this the lid would pop off.  Vented lids are normally only used on 4oz Espresso paper cups, and even then in very small quantities, as most people would consume an espresso straight away.  Other sizes and customization are available on orders in excess of 500,000.

Travel Lids, while still being vented by a pin hole, travel lids also have a tab that can be torn open to allow drink to be consumed, without the lid being removed. The cup can also be resealed using this tab. This makes it ideal for drinks on the move.

Sip lids have a permanent hole to allow the drink to be consumed through the lid.  Although the lid cannot be resealed like the travel lid, if the cup falls over, spillage is limited.  The sip through hole makes a much more comfortable aperture compared to the travel lid.  Some coffee connoisseurs feel that a better mixture of froth and coffee is achieved using a sip through lid. Sip lids are available in small to fit 8oz, medium to fit 10oz tall, and large to fit 10oz squat, 12oz, 16oz and 20oz cups.

Cold Drink Lids

Cold drink lids are available in straw slot, or in dome, dome hole or dome large hole.

Straw Slot Lids are available in small for 8oz cups, and medium for 10oz Squat, 12oz, 16oz and 20oz cups.  Manufactured in translucent polystyrene (PS), Straw Slot Lids allow even the largest straw to fit.

In the family dining environment, the straw slot lid gives parents the security that the child is not going to pull the cup over and spill the drink.
Straw slot lids will help keep drinks fizzy and cold longer, and increase sales by allowing a takeout option.  This lid allows the base of another cup to sit on it, allowing several cups to be carried.

Dome Lid – No Hole

Dome lids without a hole are used for retail packs of a diverse range of products from Deserts, pasta, salads and candy cups.

Dome Lid – With Hole
Dome lids with a hole give a tight fit allowing filling beyond the brim of the cup, giving eye catching presentation.  Usually used for premium drinks like slush, milk shakes and juices.  Dome lids are only available in 90mm size to fit 10oz sqt, 12oz, 16oz and 20oz sizes.

Dome Lid – Large Hole
Used for McFlurry style desserts, where a larger opening is required to allow product to be spooned out.

Lids can be customised on a minimum order of 1,000,000.
